And not the nice kind, either. D:

So, basically, the reason I've been so inactive lately (and the reason I haven't been in College for two weeks) is because I've recently returned home from an operation, which involved removing a part of me that would make you feel quite uncomfortable if I said it out loud.

I found out that it's this hereditary thing that normally hits the women of our family around their mid-40s and 50s, so you can imagine my dismay when, after 3 days' prattling around trying to figure out what the hell it was, the consultant told me 'oh yeah, it's this thing that's only supposed to occur in older women, UNLUCKY!' Initially it was a bit of a shock but it's all over and done with now, so I won't bore you with the details or go on about it. I feel much, MUCH better and should be back in College after the half-term holidays.

I will say this, however: all of my family (particularly my Mum, who didn't leave my side for the entirety of the week) and all of my friends are PERPETUALLY KICK-ARSE. I dunno what I'd do without you, I really don't. So, yeah. You guys rule. ^^

Apart from that, not a lot has been going on, although I'm REALLY not looking forward to playing catch-up on all of the schoolwork I've missed due to being away. Hopefully I'll get it all sorted before term starts again. I can hear Dr. Seimens' voice now... "I'm sorry, Jess, but 3 words do not constitute an entire month's worth of Latin, no matter how long they are".

Oops. I better start revising then. >.>
